I didn’t know at the time, but my journey with kidney dialysis would eventually lead me to the Alabama Kidney Foundation. When I first started dialysis, it was a scary time for me. Before and after my transplant surgery, the Foundation was there for me to help cover the cost for doctor visits, transportation and medication.
