We are honored to introduce the 2025 AKF Montgomery Kidney Walk & Celebration Honorary Walk Chair, William Van Hooser. William is an experienced professional in the field of employee benefits and insurance, currently serving as Agency Principal and Vice President of Employee Benefits/Life at Starke Agency, Inc. since March 2016. William specializes in creating tailored solutions for employers’ health insurance, employee benefits, and individual life insurance, with a focus on secondary health insurance, enrollment solutions, and employee education. Prior to this role, William held positions as Employee Benefits/Life Consultant and Associate Account Executive at Travelers. William earned a degree of Business Administration in Finance from Auburn University.
With his current role as Agency Principal of Starke Agency, William firmly believes in Starke’s corporate mission to build strong, positive, and long-lasting relationships with clients, team members, and the communities that they serve. Since 1929 Starke has been committed to being corporate citizens that give back to strengthen the River Region and beyond. William is excited to continue Starke’s legacy of giving by partnering with the Alabama Kidney Foundation in support of their mission to provide prevention awareness and improve the quality of life for Alabamians affected by kidney disease.
