Abby Sparkman joins the Alabama Kidney Foundation as the Wiregrass Regional Director, bringing a wealth of experience in strategic operations, public affairs, and community engagement. A native of Dothan, Abby has built a career rooted in service and leadership. Her previous roles range from serving as the corporate client liaison at Shute Pecan Company to strategic affairs at the Business Council of Alabama, where she served as a lobbyist on the Governmental Affairs team and oversaw day-to-day operations for the Office of the President.

Abby holds a Master of Science in Public Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Harvard University Extension School. Her dedication to the Wiregrass region is evident through her years of giving back to her community. In recent years she has volunteered with numerous organizations including Alabama Kidney Foundation, Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center, and Wiregrass United Way.

Abby is passionate about improving lives through advocacy and outreach. She is excited to lead efforts that support kidney patients and their families across the Wiregrass.
