The Alabama Kidney Foundation is excited to announce that Dr. Anupam Agarwal, Dean of the Heersink School of Medicine at UAB, will serve as the Honorary Walk Chair for the 2025 Birmingham Kidney Walk & Celebration. This year’s event holds special significance as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Alabama Kidney Foundation, a milestone that speaks to the organization’s unwavering commitment to kidney health and patient support in our community.

Dr. Agarwal is renowned for his contributions to nephrology and his dedication to advancing kidney disease research and treatment.
