The Alabama Kidney Foundation is proud to introduce Rebecca Stork as the 2025 Patient Chair for Mobile, Alabama. At 25 years old, Rebecca brings a personal and passionate perspective to this important role. Originally from Grand Bay, and now residing in Silverhill with her husband, Chase, Rebecca is dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for those affected by kidney disease.
Rebecca’s journey with polycystic kidney disease (PKD) began in 2019, following the loss of her mother, Stacey Moore, who bravely fought PKD for many years before passing in 2018. Rebecca has been deeply inspired by her mother’s strength and resilience, and she continues that legacy as she faces her own battle with PKD. Despite the physical and emotional challenges, Rebecca remains determined and hopeful.
In addition to her role as Patient Chair, Rebecca is pursuing a degree in Behavior Analysis, supported by a strong network of family and friends. She is committed to spreading awareness about PKD and advocating for others who are living with kidney disease.
As Patient Chair, Rebecca’s mission is to raise awareness about kidney disease and provide hope and encouragement to those navigating similar challenges. She is an inspiring voice for the kidney community, and we are honored to have her leading the charge in 2025.
Join us in welcoming Rebecca Stork to this important role and supporting her as she works to make a lasting impact in the fight against kidney disease.
