The 2024 AKF Montgomery Kidney Walk & Celebration broke the record! Our community came together and has crossed the $300,000 mark!!! Proudly the River Region can now boast that they raised the most money for a single walk in AKF history…EVER!
This is beyond our wildest dreams & we couldn’t have done it without THE BEST Walk Chairs & Walk Teams in the entire state. Period!
Together with our amazing 2024 Honorary Walk Chairs, Jerry & Nancy Kocan – Owner & Dealer Principal of FourStar Freightliner & our Patient Chair, Ms. Denise Riley-Mitchell, Vice President of Phillips Riley Funeral Home, our dozens of loyal corporate sponsors, 45 dedicated walk teams along with their walk team captains & members, & our individual supporters we FAR SURPASSED our walk goal of $185,000!
